One thing is for sure, with it being so wet out, the ponds {which I drained} filled up with water, and now.... they are frozen solid. Never even thought about ice skating, but this year, I could, if I had skates and didn't mind landing on my butt. lol.
Hope everything lasts thought the winter, as this is starting out like last winter. Freezing cold, little snow, and to cold for man nor beast outside. It's 4 degrees out there and will get colder before the night is gone. I wonder if this means spring will come early and be wet like this past year?
I'd settle for a nice blanket of snow, sunny days, and a early spring that isn't to wet. I have track to lay next year.

Setting up the ponds!
At last I am getting started on my railway. I have planned out where the ponds are going to be and the waterfall etc. If it turns out like how I want, it will really be nice.
I will be putting the fairy village around and down along the waterfall and ponds. It will really make it nice, I think. I am also planning out the beginning of of the railway line. At least where it will run down one size of the garden. I have so much I want to put into the area it will need to be planned out nicely. A lot of work and I have new garden beds to set up this year.
I just wish I knew how to get rid of quack grass, and not kill off everything else. Any Ideas??? let me know if you do...
